A walk along the streets of Nairobi, man: both men & women wandering about, to and fro the corners of the city. 10 oclock in the morning you pass around the Kencom bus stop & u’ll notice a circle of gentlemen & ladies sat on their well knit clads with files, perhaps taking a break from a sweaty task. At lunch time, white-collar employees & others retreat from their offices to various food courts including downtown River road to Uptown in the up markets of the city, while others remain in the office utilizing the free office internet in the name saving from their meager income. After lunch party is the norm in most offices especially government offices where seats worn in courts represent the office occupants. Others retire home early to catch up with the family. The evening is even worse, men from work- stressed up to the core trying to come into terms with what transpired at work place. Along the notorious populous Tom Mboya street spotting a person talking to himself is not unusual! Others routing to pubs to temporarily cover up their miss happenings of the day. It’s a crazy world.
